Summer Classes and Productions 2025

Programs for every age from 5 to 95!

**Rehearsals for productions follow a different schedule. Please check the audition dates and rehearsal start times for each show of choice below… The list below is subject to change by season based on popularity and enrollment.

Fairy Tale Series:

FAIRY TALE SERIES! A Weekly Play: Elementary Grades (Grades 1 – 4)

All summer in week long options, weekdays from 9 – 12:30pm with small show at 12:30pm on each Friday of program (for friends/family only).

Come put on a play.  One week long options all summer long.  Each week we will put together a fun short play about a favorite fairytale story. We will develop our characters, work on physical gesture and expression and play lots of fun drama games together.  No stress this summer. Just fun and laughs all summer long in week long program options.

These plays are specifically written for a younger age group and can be mastered in a one week program for an introduction to the joy of theater.  Production length of each play is 20 – 30 minutes. All plays will be performed for families at 12:30pm inside the 2nd Floor Academy theater space.  **Please note, there are no fairytale weeks from 7/7 – 7/25 this summer.

Day Summer Stock Intensives:

Summer stock theater for the eager thespian to hone their craft in an intensive setting where will pushed to expand their singing, dancing and performance skills in a positive and nurturing environment. (Grades 5 and up)

Auditions for all summer stock intensives for grades 5 – adult: June 10 & 12

January 13 – March 9 *Tech Week March 3 – 6*

Two Week Musical Theater Intensives

(Intensives culminate in free summer theater shows on the lawn)

Beetlejuice Jr ~ June 30 – July 11 daily 1/2 day *no rehearsals 7/4.

**Please note, no rehearsals on July 4 in observance of Independence Day.

The Addams Family A Musical Comedy ~ July 14 – July 24 daily 1/2 day

Summer Stock

Shakespeare Intensive

6 Flexible Evenings Mondays/Wednesdays from June 16 – August 6.  Intensive final week: 8/18 – 8/22. 4 – 9PM. Shows: 8/24 & 8/25

Summer  Advanced Musical!

Beetlejuice! (Grades 9 and up)

For the advanced level performer in grade 9 – 12 only.

Summer Advanced Musical Theater, Beetlejuice The Musical. Flexible summer schedule, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30 – 7:30pm from June 19 -July 12. *Times may be increased as needed at the discretion of the director.

Performance: July 12 at 12:30pm & 6:00pm

Open to students in grades 9 – 12  – This special intensive for only the most advanced level performers will offer challenging dance and performance work to strengthen the most serious performer’s full range of skills for the stage.

This program is first come, first serve

Grades: 9 – age 18 | Tuition: $355.00 | Location: In-Person on the lawn at61 E. *Any 7th or 8th grader interested in doing the advanced musical must be signed up for one of day summer stock intensive programs

Auditions for all summer stock theater intensives grades 4 – adult are held June 11 – 13 at the Academy. You will receive an email confirmation prompting you to reserve an audition slot after your $50 deposit is received.

Security deposits for all programs are non-refundable and will hold your place in our program.

All final balances are due at the time of casting or, for non-audition shows, by Monday, June 17 and are final.

Students registering late after auditions are over may still participate in the ensemble of any show.

Classes are subject to rescheduling pending approvals and in the event conflicts are unavoidable. All production rehearsals run through the show dates of the specific show. Tech week rehearsals generally occur daily and are the final week of each production scheduled. Tech week rehearsals scheduled are mandatory. You are urged to check and clear any potential personal conflicts NOW for any of the shows you are interested in participating. To secure placement all programs require a $50.00 non-refundable deposit. Full payment is due the day of the audition. There are no refunds after the cast list has been posted or after December 30, 2024, within one week of any class/program starting.
