Mondays:

Grades 7+: Advanced Dramatic Theater: September 15 –November 7
Each season, we offer 3 blackbox style dramatic theater productions for a group of performers serious about honing their acting skills with an emphasis on character development and physical performance. Comic or Dramatic plays is determined seasonally, and may include thought-provoking discussion and analysis of the material, era, and socially conscious debate. Fall 2025 TBD. Audition required. 2025 FALL MAINSTAGE FOR ALL GRADE LEVELS**
Rehearsals Tuesday and Thursdays according to age.
Auditions for all grades 4 & up only: 9/9 & 9/11. Shows at the Andrews Memorial Town Hall: 11/21 – 11/23. Mandatory Tech Week for all grades 4 & up 11/10 – 11/13 from 4 – 8:30pm. **No refunds for any production after cast list released.
Grades 1-3: Junior Thespians (Tuesday or Thursday)
Great for young emerging performers. Students will receive ensemble roles in the larger cast, learning at least 2 dance numbers and working on 1 scene to participate in with the larger cast, culminating in a full mainstage performance at the Clinton Town Hall. No audition necessary for this level.

Grades 4/5: Beginner/Intermediate Thespians (Tuesday or Thursday)
Quality, fun instruction for young emerging performers culminating in a full mainstage performance at the Clinton Town Hall. Audition Required. Everyone will receive a role regardless of experience with acting. Contact kidzkonnectionct@gmail.com to reserve an audition.

Wednesdays:

Grades 1 – 4: Winnie the Pooh ~ September 17 – November 19
Join us for Disney Winnie the Pooh. Each season we will perform a 40 minute production of a beloved fairytale with just our littlest thespians to be performed on the Town Hall Stage for a matinee performance at 11:00am on the Sunday of the mainstage show. Students will all receive a speaking role they can be successful with based on our initial first class. No auditions for this program. Guaranteed to bring a smile to any young performers face. Students will also be subject to a nominal costume fee and supplying own undergarments TBD during rehearsals. **No refunds for any production after cast list released

Grades 5+: Tap/Jazz Combo for the Tween & Teen Beginner
A traditional 6-week class for students looking to improve their dance skills. Many young people discover theater over time and once bit by the bug realize they are missing essential dance skills to get top roles in high school theater or professionally. This class is designed to teach the older actor the critical basics to tap dancing in an age-friendly environment. This high energy, full of fun moves class will have you tapping with confidence at auditions in no time!

Grades 6+: Miss Maria’s Best Bootcamps
2 three-week sessions of intensives offered this winter: Bootcamp 1: Dancing through Broadway Hits. Bootcamp 2: Build Your Audition Repertoire *Monologues & Solos best suited to your style of performing. Shows at the Academy. The class is recommended for any beginning/intermediate or advanced dancer

Advanced Tap (Pre-Screening Required)
All students who wish to participate in this class must be evaluated by our head dance teacher/choreographer, Maria Teresa Lonetti. This class is for advanced level performers who have prior experience with dance and/or theater.
Ages: New students must be pre-screened to determine appropriate placement in this class. Grades 1 – 3: Little Play Makers – Fairytale Theater
A fun drama class designed specifically for children who are in grades 1-3 to learn to create their own stories through fun improvisation games and activities while developing a story program for friends and family on Friday, October 24. Children learn to use their imaginations in a fun and cooperative environment to encourage kindness and positive social skills while discovering a love for the performing arts.

Grades 4 – 6: Junior Madcappers
This once-a-week drama class helps students write their own comic material, create stories for performance and incorporates improvisation games and drama activities into a fun and cooperative experience. A perfect class for any child interested in exploring the performing arts in a free, imaginative setting.

Grades 7+: Comedy Center
A traditional improvisation and comic theater 8-week class for older students looking for a class to explore comedy and improvisation. Students work separately and together to develop comic skits and routines appropriate for each age level.

Saturdays:

Legally Blonde The Musical!
We have added an exciting opportunity for our advanced level actors during this season which is normally an off season for the Advanced Musical Theater Program. The advanced program rehearsals will run on Saturdays and then will join the intermediate level during tech week. Just like in a normal mainstage, on their off night actors will participate as ensemble.
Grades: 9+ | Tuition : $355 | Class Time: Saturdays from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm | Location: 61 E. Main Street – The Academy Building, Clinton CT | Performance at The Andrews Memorial Town Hall | Any current active 7th or 8th grader that is not available to attend Tuesday or Thursday rehearsals must contact the artistic director directly in regards to attending Saturday rehearsals.
Classes are subject to rescheduling in the event conflicts are unavoidable. All production rehearsals run through the show dates of the specific show. Tech week rehearsals generally occur daily and are the final week of each production scheduled. Tech week rehearsals scheduled are mandatory. You are urged to check and clear any potential personal conflicts NOW for any of the shows you are interested in participating. To secure placement all programs require a $50.00 non-refundable deposit. Full payment is due the day of the audition. There are no refunds after the cast list has been posted or after December 30, 2024, within one week of any class/program starting.
